Rome wasn’t built in a day…

…but this city sure was!

We’ve seen countless movies (remakes and new ones) where a monster of incredible size reduces a metropolis into mere rubble in a matter of minutes. Imagine if you could do the complete opposite; construct a city in just minutes? Nobuo Takahashi, a great animator, did just that in his video “Musashino Plateau.”

In waves of synchronization, a city that seemed to be built back in BC transforms into a modern day NYC furnished with wall to wall skyscrapers and high-rise condominiums in a matter of minutes. The video is a little dark and fuzzy, but it doesn’t distract from the noteworthy talent of Mr. Takahashi.
