Postcards aren’t usually anything special. Maybe they say something funny, but then they either go in the trash or in a cabinet and you forget about it for a few years. This is where the Postcarden comes in.

A Studio for Design created the Postcarden which is a fun postcard you can send to friends and family that can be transformed into a small garden once recieved. The recipient will recieve the Postcarden which can be transformed into 3d form and comes with cress seeds.

Lightly water the seeds, put your garden in sunlight and it’ll start to grow in 2-3 days and will last for up to 2 weeks. Once grown, the cress can be eaten! I’ve never eaten cress before but Wikipedia says its related to watercress and mustard and has a peppery, tangy flavor and aroma.

Awesome idea!

The Improv Show Description Generator is great for those of you working in the improv industry, and I actually know someone who is so I’ll have to pass this one along.

If your improv group doesn’t have time to write something up for your upcoming show tonight, you need this service. Type in your group’s name, select the type of show you’re doing and hit the button. You can then plaster this all over the place; flyers, Facebook, Myspace, emails, whatever…

Here’s an example of what it came up with for me.
