Intuitive Painting
Painting was always something I wanted to learn to do well. In school, I was always able to do pretty well in my art studio classes where creative juices were flowing non-stop. But anytime I sat down at home, my head was blocked from anything creative and my hand just couldn’t move the way I wanted it to. This very reason is why I decided to enroll myself in a painting workshop called Intuitive Painting.
Intuitive Painting was a class that taught you how to paint without listening to your subconscious thoughts of judgments and egos. You learn to quiet that disapproving voice. In order to accomplish that, you start painting with your left hand. And for those of you that are lefties or ambidextrous- you had no obstacle there, but for the ones with dominate rights, it’s definitely something that takes a couple of hours to get used to.

The Conglomerfont project calls out to all those who are creative and would like to take part in a massive, possibly worldwide, font creation project. There are already several people working on it and you’re free to join if you choose.

The Best Video Game Review Ever
Whether you like video games or not, you’ll definitely want to check out Zero Punctuation every week, because these are some of the funniest videos you’ll ever see. Yahtzee Croshaw is British born and lives in Australia so there seems to be a mixture of both accents when he speaks. This makes it a little difficult to understand at first, especially because he talks so damn fast, but watch a couple of his videos and it’ll become no trouble at all.
I’ve actually been watching his reviews for quite a while now but never thought to post any on Aimless Direction, but it just popped into my head this morning for some reason, so lucky you. Check out his latest review of Spore and remember to look for his reviews every Wednesday.

More great art
You know when you see a good commercial when you pay as much attention to it as you would a final review before an exam you have yet to study for. I experienced just that with this commercial from Nagi Noda.

Indiana Jones and the Choices of Fonts
That makes for one hell of a movie, huh?! I would certainly be there on opening night. Geekiness put aside, I love typography. Nothing about the topic could bore me.
