Spoof Your Phone Number

Phonegangster.com seems like an interesting service. They will sell you a calling card which will let you call somebody and then you can enter whatever phone number you choose to show up on the other person's caller id. I don't know of too many things that this would be useful for, unless you are 16 years old or you think your significant other is cheating. It may be a good way for tele-marketers to trick you into thinking you are a local company. This may even become a way for phishing scam artists to gain more trust from their targets. Now that I think about it, I don't like this service much. You may be able to have more ideas for it than I do though. The forums are funny too. A lot of the posts look like the owner of the service created bogus accounts in order to say good things about it.

Beer Song and World of Warcraft
I don't know a whole lot about World of Warcraft, but I do know a lot about beer. Well, I sure know how to drink it anyway. Check out this funny song about beer with World of Warcraft characters singing. Makes me thirsty.

Put Some Color In Your Life

Do you like to do any kind of design? If so, you probably know how difficult it can be to figure out the right colors for your project, whatever it may be. In my case, it's usually web design. I'm not a web designer though, so color tools are really helpful to me. Check out this blog post of a whole bunch of useful color tools and resources.

Steve-O Drunk...What's New?
I missed the Spike TV video game awards this year, but I kinda wish I didn't after watching this video of Steve-O being an idiot. He looks like he was pretty damn drunk. Bobby Lee looks like he doesn't really know what to say. Funny stuff.

Toilets Protect Freedom

In Charleston, Indiana an inmate, Wayne Mitchell, of the Clark County Jail decided that he had enough working with a crew who was clearing trash from the roadside. So when the crew took a break at a lodge for lunch, he went to the bathroom and plugged up the toilet. Once the toilet began to overflow, he came out of the bathroom and asked to retrieve some towels from the van to clean up the mess. Instead of getting the towels however, he walked over to a car dealership and stole a '95 Camaro. He has not yet been caught. So what's the lesson of this story? I don't know what the lesson is, but I sure do like that "Prison Break" show that airs on Mondays.

Point and Click Games Are Awesome!
Do you know what a point and click game is? If not, they are games where you usually have to click on objects in order to solve a puzzle. Often, the objective is to find your way out of a locked room or pick up objects in order to reveal more of the story line. These games are always fun, and you can play them at work. Check out this list of 10 free point and click games and find out for yourself.

A new typeface- will it go down in history with Helvetica, Papyrus and Comic Sans?
So, right now, this typeface is pretty appealing. It's interesting, bold, and can be used with a number of different styles. And I'm sure that others, once upon a time, thought closely the same thing about Comic Sans and Papyrus (no?).
Of course this font is used for mostly athestic reasons; for some titles are a little hard to make out. So, don't use it if your main point is to spread information. But to spread a little pretty design, I say use and use again!

Sperm Donor Liable For Child Support

A man from Nassau County, New York donated sperm to a female co-worker 18 years ago. Throughout those years he kindly sent presents and cards to the kid. Now the kid is grown up and he may have to pay child support until the boy is 21. This all comes from the man asking for DNA testing. Since he let himself be seen by the child as his father the kids entire life, even placing his name on the birth certificate, Nassau County Family Court Judge, Ellen Greenberg, ruled that the man wouldn't even be allowed to have DNA testing as this may have a "traumatic effect" on the child. At the time, the man agreed that he would not have any rights or benefits in raising the child, but since this was only a verbal agreement, he's now screwed. Now you've learned a valuable lesson...never donate sperm to coworkers.

Eternal Sunset

At some point, I would love to do a little traveling. Specifically to Italy... and Greece... Rome.... Sicily... I want to witness the romance in these cities first hand. But for the time being, the internet is a great way to visit these cities, first hand, virtually. And what's more romantic than sitting with your significant other, taking in the warm sunsets? ...In front of the computer? Why, nothing! (Except for maybe actually being there...) Take a look at this site and view sunsets from all around the world. Even Antarctica via the Penguin Cam. I think my favorite is in Napoli... Man, I can't wait to go there!
Enjoy!
