This is an older video that I thought I would post since I just posted that Mario video yesterday. This is the E! True Hollywood Story of Luigi. It actually won the best short film at the 2006 GenCon Film Festival

There are always new Super Mario Bros. videos popping up around the net and this one has got to be one of the funniest. This video shows Mario and Princess in the real world after they have decided to leave the mushroom kingdom. Things aren't so happy anymore and you can see that Mario's past has really taken a toll on his mind. You may have seen it already, but I'm sure you'll agree with me that it's worth watching again.

The Last Stand is a game in which you are behind a barricade and at night zombies attack you. You have to protect your barricade from the many zombies throughout the darkness, and manage your time during the day. Once you get further in the game, it gets easier to manage your time but there are more zombies and they move faster and get stronger. I love zombie games. I didn't get a chance to get all of the guns, but I got quite a few and I had a bloody good time.

Comic Life is a program that you have to download, but it is pretty cool. You can use your own photos and layouts from the program to create real comics. You can create quick comics with their template or you can take full control and set up the comic the way you want it. Comic Life is extremely easy to use and really fun. I definitely recommend you try it out. You can get the Mac version here, or the PC version here.(in beta)

How would you illustrate the word, “I,” “garbage,” “what,” or “empty?” For many, something this vague is a nightmare (I am one of the many), but for others the intimidating elusiveness is favored.
Here you’ll find some very creative, witty, and even questionable examples of our everyday vocabulary. This is my quick little interpretation of the word “Joy.”
And while you’re drawing inspiration from those funky illustrations, mosey around the rest of the site and feed your hunger for design.

Here is collection of fun games that PC Magazine has put together. I have just copied their list because their site has annoying popups and didn't think you would want to deal with those. These are direct links to the games too. If you want to read PC Magazines full article, you can do so here. They are all pretty cool, except Cyber Darts requires you to join before playing it, so I probably would have excluded that one if I were PC Magazine.

Jott is a new free service that helps you remember things. You have to set up an account with their service and verify your phone number and you're ready to go. All you do is call their number and leave a message. Then, it will turn your voice message into text and email it to you. I'm sure this can be pretty helpful in many ways. You can even put your contacts in here so that you can send emails through your phone to other people. You have to speak very clearly though but it seems to do a fairly good job for the most part. It sends the messages really quick too.

Everywhere you look, you can find art; skipping along the street, driving down Interstate 25, daydreaming while gazing at the clouds (Oh, to be a kid again...) But did you ever imagine that right there in your cell phone, of course with a 2000x magnification, there could be a piece, a tiny little piece of art work chiseled onto the computer chip? I guess when you have such a technical and tedious job, you have to find some creative outlet, right?
Below are some great Easter Eggs, rather than hitting some shortcut keys when Photoshop is loading; these Easter eggs are on the hardware. Take a look at the intensely detailed mastery below.

Sorry for not posting anything yesterday. My site is hosted with Google and they were having problems all day, and I couldn't access my website. Anyway, do you want to see some really cool carvings? Then check out this site. There are some very talented people out there, with a lot of free time on their hands. This looks like an awesome hobby though. I can't believe how crazy some of these carvings are.

Makibishi Comic is a really weird Flash game that places you as an assassin and you have to find these odd characters hiding throughout the game. You have to click on various parts of the levels in order to make stuff happen and to progress through the level. This is a very nicely designed game and actually pretty fun.

A woman named Tania Derveaux is a NEE party senate candidate in Belgium and she is offering anyone who signs up on her website a blowjob. This is in response to the claims of other parties in Belgium who have claimed to offer a ridiculous amount of jobs that just isn't going to happen. She is offering 40,000 blowjobs and will travel the world for 500 days to complete the task. Wow. Thats some incentive to vote. Would you sign up if Hillary Clinton offered the same thing? Yuck. Forget I ever said that.

In 1784 the first psychiatric hospital, Der Narrenturm, or "The Fools' Tower" was established. It closed in 1866 and used as a nurses hostel. Since 1971, though, it has housed the pathological-anatomical federal museum. This museum contains a weird collection of children who were all born dead with some type of defect. Check out a couple of photos of the collection that Julian Kenning took below or click the photos to see more.

I am going to start having more people contribute to this site as it grows and and the first person to help me in my conquest of the internet is my girlfriend, Michelle. Michelle knows a lot about art, design, and photography, so you should see some pretty cool stuff in the future. She writes a lot better than I do too. Her first post is below. Enjoy.
Besides the program crashes, the rotating wheel of death, and just the over all little Mac mishaps, the worse thing about owning a Mac is that various programs aren’t Mac compatible. It’s not that there is a huge supply of programs that are only attuned with Windows, but it just so seems that some computer games and programs that one may take an interest to, only work on a Window based PC.
Why is the world so PC oriented?!
In doing some random Google searches, I found a supplier of graphic and design programs that are specifically customized to Mac and its (Designer) users. I first found this as a widget for my Mac quite sometime ago, but I didn’t dig any further into it to find out who these people were or what else they may supply.
Lo and behold, not only does Code Line offer Art Director’s Toolkit (a Mac widget), but Art Files, Color Consultant Pro, ScreenShot Pro, and Type Cast. All of which that can make designing a little less time consuming with these tools right at your fingertips.
Some of their programs are free downloads, but others you have to purchase. Take look to see which would best fit your designing needs at Code Line Communications

Do you ever get scared of what might be happening around you? Are you afraid to even leave the safety of your own home? If so, I'm sorry, but I have found a new tool for you to use that will keep you in your house even more. Global Incident Map is a map of the world that visually shows terrorism and other suspicious events that are happening. Pretty scary stuff actually.

Do you like Metal. I sure as hell do. It's even better when it's free. You can download three full albums from the rock band Grey Skies Fallen on their official website.

Tumblr is a site that allows you to create what are called tumblelogs. Tumblr allows you to create a tumblelog for free and makes the process pretty easy. It is just like a blog except it is made to cater to those people of fewer words. Perfect for me. You can either set one up with their tumblr domain name, or you can buy your own domain name and choose what you want to call your tumblelog. Check out their popular Tumblelogs on the homepage for a better idea of how these are meant to work.

I don't know if you saw it on Tuesday, but Digg was overthrown by it's own users. In response to Digg taking down a story and banning an account of someone who posted the HD DVD crack, Digg users went mad. The only thing that could be found on Digg was that code. It kinda sucked actually, because I couldn't read the normal nerdy stories I like on there. It's back to normal now though. Read the full story here.

The next time you go on vacation, maybe you should consider Rangali Island in Maldives. There you can stay at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa, which is set on 2 private islands, which sounds good enough for me, but the real deal maker is a restaurant there. This restaurant is the only all-glass undersea restaurant in the world. Check out some pictures below.

Myths and Legends Story Creator is a Flash based program that will allow you to create your own little story. I don't have much of an imagination, so I didn't have much fun with it, but I thought you might. There are many characters and objects you can choose from to put in your scene and you can have them say whatever you want. You can upload your own pictures and add sound effects too. Might be a fun activity to do with your kids.
