I’m absolutely fascinated with stop-motion art, probably because i know how hard it is and how long it takes to complete even the simplest of stop-motion projects. I’ve done one before back when I was in eight grade (14 years ago) and it was tough. I worked on it every day for two weeks and when it was done, I had a 20 second clip of a couple of army men walking around the table. Not very impressive, but I was pleased with my accomplishment.
Much later, I came across a video from BLU, whom I’m not sure is one person or a group of people.
This is one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen. It’s quite old now though, at least by internet standards so you’ve probably already seen it.
You might not have seen BLU’s latest project though, which takes stop-motion wall painting to a much higher level. BLU worked on this project for several months and used up hundreds of buckets of paint to complete it. There are lots of other projects and videos on the official BLU website too if you want to check them out.
